RIP DEI
The door flying off a Boeing 737 Max was the end of the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion charade.
You needed a trained eye to see this, but at the precise moment, a door plug flew out of an Alaska Airlines Boeing 737-9 Max at 16,000 feet America’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion book flew out of the plane right behind it. That was the sentiment BOTTOM of that episode in our nation’s history, and I predict things will get better from here. Go ahead and timestamp me.
On the ground, people are all for merit-based placement in society. Many would be HAPPY to contribute charitably to an untold number of less fortunate, good causes when afforded some expendable income and the freedom to make their own financial decisions. We could feed the poor and house the homeless if the world was tweaked just a little bit.
Nobody would argue that we need to accept all races, religions, and sexual preferences and give everyone the chance to succeed. That means everyone. It’s like Jesus would have wanted it. It sounds like paradise to me. Keep the competition merit-based, watch the scoreboard for the best performers, and let the best and brightest slug it out for opportunity.
When it comes to Americans going on a necessary business trip, to visit grandma, or departing for a spectacular summer vacation via America’s crown jewel aviation system – NOBODY IN THIS COUNTRY WILL SETTLE FOR a marvel of modern technology being built poorly because the company that manufactures the piece of equipment chose the DIVERSE student with the C+ and the neck tattoo over the remarkably typical student with his hair parted on the side, a thick mustache, a pair of tightly fitted travel slacks, and an A+ on every engineering exam. Safe air travel is one of the tenets this world is built on, and this catastrophe will be precisely where the DEI buck stops.
It's worth observing that the richest man in the world is calling foul over this development.
“Do you want to fly in an airplane where they prioritized DEI hiring over your safety? That is actually happening.” - Elon Musk
In his quote-tweet, Elon Musk pointed out how Boeing’s bonus plan rewarded CEOs and executives if they hit DEI targets. The nation's leading producer of commercial airplanes, AH-64 Apache Helicopters, B-52 Bombers, Chinook Helicopters, Air Force One planes, Satellites, Space Stations, and utility aircraft is not hiring the best and brightest. They hired to fulfill a paint-by-number race mosaic of what their company should look like in an imaginary world with nothing to do with reality, and the basic tenets of engineering won’t stand for it. Boeing is at the top of the aerospace & defense industry. It’s not a local bagel shop, so DEI will not work.
According to House Transport Committee Chairman Peter DeFazio, who was investigating the 737 MAX after two crashes in five months that killed 346 people, Boeing went to great lengths to evade scrutiny from regulators, flight crews, and the public as its own employees sounded internal alarms. Imagine Rome burning, Nero ordering journalists to say, ‘Everything is fine,’ and telling flight crews to get flights off the ground while half the population burns to death at his feet. They did that at Boeing in 2023, and I bet it will be discontinued in 2024.
As the woke pendulum reaches its nadir, you will see wealthy donors calling their congressmen, asking them, “What is going on at [LOCAL MANUFACTURER] and who hired the [EXPLETIVE] kid that built the door that flew off the [EXPLETIVE] plane!??! I flew a Boeing 737 twice last week.” Members of Congress will have to act.
Klaus Schwab, head of the oppressive and deadly WEF, called the revolution against his agenda an “anti-system movement.” At the head of the globalist/woke agenda, Larry Fink said this year presents a “distinctly different landscape” as he fired 600 employees or 3% of his workforce. One would imagine a tranche were let go from the DEI department to combat the new merit-friendly landscape.
The West is waking up. They’re taking Blackrock’s “forced behavior” and Klaus’s “you will own nothing” idiocy and stuffing it back in the genie bottle it came from.
The German farmer/railway protest is such a blow to the Establishment’s ego and agenda that it is getting no press coverage. The people are done. Johns Hopkins University’s DEI Office just had to retract their “privilege list” after it drew massive outrage from alumni and every other English-speaking Christian white male in the country whom they came after. The President of Harvard, Claudine Gay, who was heavily supported by Barack Obama (!), was forced to step down after softly condoning genocide on campus and getting caught plagiarizing her lips off.
Those are a few recent examples of doors flying off Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Airlines. The pace will continue until morale improves, Good People. DEI is done.
F&ck yeah! Love your work Tony.
Finally, we are unmasking the rot at universities and companies focused on nothing but mediocracy. Social studies programs can tolerate the DEI nonsense, but real, hard science, math and engineering can't. That is why you see people flip their lids on twitter over the 2+2=4 expression. Go on twitter (X) and search for it. That fight came from the declaration by the DEI crew that math itself was racist.
Rich countries have the luxury of this kind of nonsense. The rest of the world thinks we DEI is lunacy and they are right!
